A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family/Civil Paralegal to join a leading commercial dispute City firm.
You’ll be working closely with one of the UK’s leading Family lawyers, ranked highly in Legal 500, who heads up the team primarily acting for HNWI on both domestic and international cases involving substantial assets. In addition, he is a skilled Children Act practitioner having worked on several child abduction cases.
What’s on Offer:
- Able to work on HNW Family/Civil complex cases within a small team.
- Closely supporting the head of the department.
- Up to £35K per annum, plus benefits.
Your New Role:
- Preparing and collating financial disclosure bundles for court and papers for counsel.
- Taking an attendance note at client/counsel sessions and court hearings.
- Due diligence and disclosure.
- Creating client documents (e.g., Form E, asset schedule, Questionnaire, Form H) or sending emails/letters.
About You:
- Strong academics including law degree or equivalent qualification.
- Previous Family or civil experience from a law firm preferably.
- Experience with trail prep including bundling and drafting.
- Need to do 5 days a week in office with 4:1 hybrid working after settle period.
