A high-profile City firm, our client's leading intellectual property practice is growing and looking to hire an additional, experienced IP associate. The right candidate will have around / at least 3 years’ post-qualified experience of IP litigation, specifically patent litigation (or at least significant experience of patent litigation within a broader soft and hard IP workload). Presenting a fantastic opportunity to join an IP team that has worked on some of the most significant contentious IP cases in the market but which is firmly in growth mode, this role will have a focus on patent litigation, acting on a range of matters in the High Court, IPEC and the UPC. Unlike some other leading IP/ patent practices, the partners are happy to consider patent lawyers without a science background. The Oxford IP diploma would be beneficial but is also not a pre-requisite . The partners are looking for a talented IP / patent lawyer with a genuine passion for IP, entrepreneurial and innovative, who wishes to work in a dynamic, highly collaborative team of like-minded IP lawyers on some of the best patent work in the market.
