Residential Property Paralegal
Do you have experience in Residential Property and want to join a leading Property team? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!
 
A fantastic role for a Residential Property Paralegal has arisen to join a leading international law firm on a permanent basis in the City of London.
 
The Firm & Team:
The firm are one of the fastest growing law firms in the country, achieving double digit growth in the last financial year, despite significant challenges that the economy and the rest of the sector have faced.
 
One of the largest dedicated residential property groups in the country, handling all aspects of high-value residential property matters. From sales and purchases to lettings, redevelopments, and disputes, they cover all property requirements for their high-profile clients.
 
There are also prospects of securing a TC through success in the role after 6-12 months.
 
Your New Role
As a member of our leading Residential Property team, you will assist with a variety of duties and responsibilities, including exposure to investment property and other property finance matters. Your tasks will include:
 
  • Leasehold and freehold sales and purchases.
  • Managing all post-completion matters, including land registry applications and stamp duty submissions.
  • Liaising with third-party lenders and estate agents.
  • Conducting searches and pre-completion tasks.
  • Handling registrations.
 
About You
The successful candidate will have around 6 months of prior property experience, ideally including:
  • Familiarity with SDLT returns, lease renewals, deeds of variation, searches, and obtaining documentation from HM Land Registry.
  • Experience with pre- and post-completion matters.
  • SAR (Solicitors Account Rules) experience Is essential.
  • Able to initially work full time in office with hybrid working 4:1 after the settle-in period.
 
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong academic results, including a law degree or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 months of residential or conveyancing property experience as a paralegal.
