Are you an experienced Employment Lawyer looking to take the next step in your career? A prestigious UK law firm with a strong international presence is seeking a Managing Associate (4+ PQE) to join their highly regarded Employment Law team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with a particular focus on high-profile litigation.
The Role:
As a Managing Associate, you will play a key role in advising clients on a full range of employment law matters, with a strong emphasis on contentious work, including managing complex Employment Tribunal claims. You will also provide strategic advice on non-contentious employment matters, including corporate transactions, regulatory compliance, and workforce restructuring.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a broad range of employment disputes, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal claims.
- Managing high-value Employment Tribunal cases and advising on employment litigation strategy.
- Advising clients on non-contentious matters, such as business reorganisations, TUPE, and executive exits.
- Supporting corporate teams on employment aspects of M&A transactions and other commercial deals.
- Supervising and mentoring junior associates and contributing to business development initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 4+ years PQE with significant experience in employment litigation.
- Strong experience gained at a City or international law firm, working on high-profile contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
- A proven track record of managing complex tribunal claims and providing strategic employment advice to corporate clients.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients across different jurisdictions.
- A team player with strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor junior lawyers.
